Hmmmmm.....interesting. I wonder of the goal of using mylar was to build strength & how to play 'through' the head.

I saw the mylar,too...not sure why they would change to kevlar at this point now.

Hmmm....I watched the drumline for 4 days leading up to their first show. I'd love to see a top 3 or 4 line, but I'd be shocked.

Drum corps with expanding use of electronics & no timpani, will take some time to get used to...

I have been catching up on my reading. I can't help but feel a bit of disconnect with the corps being so far away. I'm excited for the summer. The drum finish is sweet, but from far away will look like plain white, which I really don't care for. The unis are fine by me, except looking at the drumline with short sleeves/gauntlets/and obviously no gloves, looks a bit odd. Won't be at DOP, am busy with kids/baseball etc.

A huge ? for me. I hope he is with Scouts as much as possible.
