  1. I think everyone is going to be on the edge of their seats during retreat tomorrow night. Seminole is also only .2 behind Miamisburg and Choctaw
  2. FFCC Premier Scholastic A 1 Cypress Creek HS 71.90 2 Timber Creek HS 68.90 3 Spruce Creek HS 64.80 4 Hagerty HS A 64.10 5 Nease HS 64.00 6 Colonial HS 61.80 7 Countryside HS 60.90 8 St. Augustine HS 60.70 9 Satellite HS 60.10 10 Apopka HS 60.00 11 Lake Howell HS 58.60 12 Dr. Phillips HS 57.70 13 University HS 57.60 14 Northside Christian HS A 57.10 15 Auburndale HS 56.50 16 Fleming Island HS 54.80 17 Chamberlain HS 53.80 Independent A 1 Fahrenheit 70.50 2 Gainesville Independent 64.70 3 The Defiance 42.20 4 Chrysalis 0.00 Scholastic Open 1 Lyman HS Gold 60.50 Independent Open 1 River City Independent 65.90 2 USF Winterguard 60.90 Scholastic World 1 Seminole HS 60.30 2 Freedom HS 59.60 Independent World 1 Northeast Independent 75.70 2 Fahrenheit World 64.70
  3. Actually it would be Fortississimo (spelling) FF is fortissimo. ;)
  4. I wonder what city they will be based out of?
  5. It was in the opening montage of them showing people from the Miami auditions. It was like a split second.
  6. A friend said she recognized him as someone who marched Northern Lights/Cavaliers. Dont know why he was doing Braddock movement work though. Wish they had showed his audition!
  7. And a majority of these guards are from the same circuit :) (NEi, Knights, Freedom, Seminole, USF, RCi and Lyman)
  8. USF is not folding, if anything they will come out with a new name due the lack of funding for the university itself. Michael Shapiro has been with Tarpon since last year and I'm pretty sure he's already moved here. And I've heard from members that sadly Knights will not be out next year.
  9. Last year the "younger" guard went back and forth with River City all season and then Fahrenheit A tied for the bronze medal in IA and River City didnt even make finals and at the same time the world guard placed 15th in IW. So how do you explain that? If the they were "completely written off" this year bc they were "younger" explain to me why didn't it happen last year? It basically all comes down to is anything can happen in Dayton. These two groups could have had flawless runs in prelims but if the judges think that 15 other groups are better than them, then they arent going to make finals. So just work harder and come out stronger the next year. Theres nothing you can do about it now.
  10. Word on the street is James Logan got a penalty in prelims and without it they would have been in third. Can anyone confirm?
  11. I think you got USF and The Knights confused. The Knights wear the ski mask things USF does not. :)
  12. Unfortunately from what I've heard Tarpon Springs will not be attending WGI this year due to financial reasons. I know that they are still signed up but this is what I heard. I love their show though, especially the part before the flag feature where the silk is built :)
  13. Official scores aren't up yet but from a friend I heard Braddock 71 Premonition 67 Flanagan 73 Stoneman Douglas 63
  14. Seminole will bringing out a very strong and bigger than usual team with Rick Subel and Andria Foerch writing some of the work. Will be a very exciting show!
  15. That's a lot better than Carpel Tunnel. I'm a bassoonist and many of my friends from school have been getting carpel tunnel. The surgery alone takes you out for weeks.
