  1. Arrangement rights aren't the issue. Those are easy to get and are fair priced. It's the mechanical (recording) rights that are expensive. The Beatles, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, among others, charge in the thousands for those rights.
  2. I suppose... but the Newman is a little TOO CLOSE to be called original. Walking on thin ice, methinks.
  3. You can also hear Thomas Newman's "That Next Place, from Meet Joe Black" as the ballad. He is also on the do not arrange list. And I actually hear "Colors of the Wind, from Pocahontas" at the beginning! :-) Probably a show with music "Original based on..."
  4. Slalom - Carter Pann My least favorite part of the show.
  5. The traveling Cirque shows tend to be under a giant tent in the parking lot.
  6. http://www.myspace.com/forbidden Capitalization is the same!
  7. I always thought it was "On the Dominant Divide," because of it's heavy emphasis on the tonic and dominant?
  8. Not really. Yoko still controls his music. She takes a LONG time to approve. And more often than not, denies use. Just ask Jenison HS in 2007.
  9. So one could use string sounds, or an organ sound to reinforce bass?
  10. Not in the decade, but the applause in Madison 1995 always seems to be the longest and loudest.
  11. Yeah, I remember you! I was just keeping the uninformed, well... informed!
  12. RR never did a Planets show. But I think Spring HS and/or Lousiville Male did.
  13. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with the OP (haven't seen/heard it yet), but maybe some people actually listened to their parents: "If you don't have anything nice to say..."
