Funny how Bluecoats fans were in an uproar about last years narration isn't it? Personally, although i didn't like the narration, i think their problem is that they are getting too bogged down with their theme and that is what is hindering thier preformances. Theme should fit music, not other way around. Emotionally, Glassmen blew me away. I thought that Boston had a better show, just not as emotionally charged. I thought Blue Devils should have carried the night and Cavies second, but then again, last night was the first night i have had time to watch any show this year. (havent had time to see them imporve over the season and i hate that)

I love the idea and would gladly participate, but.... Say there are two Corps. who could use the help, who gets it? I also don't think this is in line with DCI and the direction they have in mind.

Unfrotunately, there is no way I will have enough time to make use of the platinum membership... I will probably do what i did last year and buy one or two viewings in the beginging of the season, go to Allentown and then go to quarters.

Here is a question for you: If the anti-amp "old farts" don't matter, why is there still thiis arguing? Could it be that our support (financial and otherwise) is, in fact, important? Why else stay and debate something that is worn thin?

OP, Are you feeling the same frustration that we on DCP are feeling? While i would love to be able to donate to ALL corps. (I am already volunteering and donating to my local div. 3) I realistically can't do more financially. That by no means, means that i don't want to help in any way i can. Sometimes that takes the form of a post or two. I know that DCP can get annoying, but once in a while, it can hatch a fairly good idea. If i had the cash lying around, believe me, this is where i would spend it. BTW... i agree that going the acoustic route would go a long way towards raising support.

OP - this is not a new sentiment and i understand where you are coming from. What I am unsure of is, what is to be done that hasn't already? I mean, is there any other choice besides Staying with DCI or Leaving DCI?
