  1. Cabs will be practicing this weekend May 1 & 2 at our New Jersey West Home this weekend. North Warren High school. We Still have a couple of spots open in the hornline. Trumpet and Tuba. So now that spring is here, and you have been outside you may have smelled some bus fumes or heard someone banging on a Steel pipe, resulting in an urge to march again well come on out we have a spot for you. Please don't worry the show is not as corny as my line. I am sure you will enjoy it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3oEgP4GYKQ (ok here is a taste of what you would be joining beside a corps with a tad bit of history and Tradition. )
  2. Fusion is at like the 101 mark And as for the commentater he hacked my name and had some other funny things to say. Bush has been around since 1972. Hee hee ..
  3. Oh Man I have to get my Hair did. Wait the Tv adds pounds right.. Oh boy think I will hide then. Anyway Looking forward to this weekend. Hmm maybe we might get outside for practice this weekend suppose to be nice. If you are interested in performing with the cabs this season. Please get in touch. m.ryan@cabs.org 2 Low brass spots left. Check it out!!
  4. I believe in the other thread it said the shows they normally sponsor they will still do so..
  5. Ok, so I had my wisdom tooth pulled yesterday and could not make practice but I was able to get there today and well it made me hurt because all I could do was smile. The show is coming along well that is all I can say. Thats a type of hurt I can deal with.. So again if you are on the fence jump down now before it to late to join us. I know coming from a Marching member it may come off as some sort of hype, but We invite you down to check it out I don't want you to believe me come see for yourself. (p.s. I also help recruit when not having my tooth pulled OUCH!!) For more information on marching or membership, please contact Mike Ryan at m.ryan@cabs.org or go to www.cabs.org.
  6. WOW Stag hill. I Read this and was like Jackson Whites.. Then read Ford Plant WOW (Nothing like good ole shot gun shell holes in the signs.)
  7. So far so good , we have some openings (low brass) but they are filling almost to the number we want + so that is a good thing. Donny I will pass this along to him he does not come on dcp that much. But yes we agree his is doing a a great job and he as the others before him have done, he is molding those in the line with him. Thanks again. We definately will be. This weekend is our next camp so if you are interested or know of anyone come on out we would love to have you join the corps For more information on marching or membership, please contact Mike Ryan at m.ryan@cabs.org.
  8. Use the internet as much as you can Facebook, myspace etc. Use the hometown Diners/Resturants. I went to a resturant in Randoplh last night and there was Fusions Flyer in the doorway Same with a Diner I went to earlier in the day. I almost Joined But the one that works the most is word of mouth a friend bringing a friend.
  9. Yeah it is only Feburary and the recording were made later in the day so after doing it all morning he was a little off. I will slap him around a little bit he will be better .. The first song is One of the Movements to this years Show "Behind The Mask" which is all original music by Rob Stein (brass), Mike Schmitt & Dave Dumont (battery), and Tom Beebe & Mike Wyatt (pit).
  10. OK We might not be first but we have something Coming very soon

  12. As you might have already read we had a very productive camp. But we all know coming from someone in the corps it can and will be summed up as Over hype. So instead here is what I have to say. For all that are interested here is what we are looking for. Percusssion: because this section is based more on set numbers here is what we are looking for. Battery: 2 Snares, 2 Tenors. Pit : 1 Four mallet player Brass : of course is a different story we welcome all that are Interested as we always do. But the spot we are highlighting is the Contra/Tuba. This does not mean if you don't play contra not to come, still come we have a place for you and would love to have you as well. Guard: since most are in Winter Guards that is still a wide open section. Stay to tuned for announcements of guard practices. So if you are interested Please email Mike or myself (Chris) @ gntlc@aol.com You all Are invited to come out and see what's what. Seeing is in the believing. Hope to see you at the next camp.
