  1. Bobby would have used this free publicity to his advantage and we'd be finding a way to create a silver "pinball" head for someone to wear and crash into every one throughout the show
  2. '58?? woah, I wasn't even born yet! Ray- You are the man! I had no idea you were that.... welll... experienced!!!! My first year was '72. Tri-Community Cadets / Keystone Regiment. ........wow............'58!!!! Really? Dude, you still got it!
  3. Hey big guy! Missed you this summer. You're a class act and a fantastic player. Now put some underwear on under that thing! No, not your hat...............
  4. Hey Gary, You are right! There are some reallly good guards in DCA and even a few GREAT ONES! But, it certainly is one of those "Things that make you go, hmmmmmmm", from time to time. The thing that gets me is how a not-so-good guard can drag your number down more than a great one can pull it up. Dude, you've been doing this as long as I have and things like that are never easy to figure out. The best thing to do is to reflect upon the positive experiences and accomplishments of the season, take a day or two to recover and decompress, then regroup and start the whole process all over again. Thank you for the nice words. I first saw your post on our forums this morning.
  5. Congratulations and welcome to the top 10! Hope your experience in Rochester was everything you wanted and more. Best of luck on all of your future efforts!
  6. I'm sorry, friend. I didn't get your name. Sounds like there's a little chip on your shoulder. Would you care to discuss it with me during the week? It would be my pleasure to help you out. I'm looking forward to meeting with you. Have a nice day!
  7. I kinda liked that guy from the Crossmen that played the Bari solos in Something and Tiger of yo mama back in '78 and '79. Kinda looks like that old guy in bush's bari line.
  8. You gotta know him to love him. (and get his humor). I'm sure that he meant no harm (or did he??????). It's an inside joke kind of thing that can be read the wrong way, even on DCP!!!!! How's school going anyway?
  9. Well now. It seems that the rumors of our demise have been greatly exaggerated. What a great weekend on the parking lot that builds so much character and twists so many ankles. We accomplished our goals AND spent Sunday with Mom. I don't know if I was more impressed by the amount of people that were there or by how early everyone was. After all these years, the people in this corps never cease to amaze me. It was a great feeling getting back out there on the asphault although the new field will be a welcome change (once they cut the grass). It's been a long winter and I'm already stoked for the upcomming weekend. It's such a fun show to play. It will even be better once we fill out the last few spots in the hornline. If anyone reading this has anything to do with the lie that we've packed it in, try focusing your energy on your own team unless you enjoy a heapin' helpin' of crow. It'll be bad enough for you when your little friends come back to you and say, "Hey, Mr. __________, you said they folded!"
  10. If I recall, You used to play a little "phone" back in the day.. How'bout it Mar.....................
