Harold, Congratulations! We all realize that your recognition is well deserved and long over due. I wish that we had known about this Sunday morning at MSJ rehearsal Phil & Claudia
There's no more Murraymen........but, there is "The Western New York Alumni Drum & Bugle Corps" based out of Dunkirk!
They're planning on doing a stand still exhibition at this show.
Check them out on YouTube, you may be impressed!
That is the Murraymen from Dunkirk, NY when they were a senior corps. The photo was taken in either 1960 or '61. My second year marching and first year on the field. A. Victor Jonus (R.I.P.) was drill instructor.
Donny, that's a great arrangement, very impressive, and we even put it together with the drum line, but..........what ever happened to "Long, Long Trail"?
The wild cymbal player and I would also like to wish all MSJ and DCP friends a happy Thanksgiving.
We should all be thankful for being able to complete another year of our favorite pastime, whether marching or watching a show or parade!
More contras?
We're at 60 horns now, where are we going to place the rest of them?
HAPPY THANKSGIVING !
