  3. You get more techy everytime I hear from you. Will you be at the Massilon show?
  4. hey Gadget, As you probably know, in terms of brass, Jay Wardeska is a very well kept secret IMHO. I've seen him pull some nice sound out of just a few players! Tom MaKinster
  5. Hey Kevin (Gadget Man), Happy brithday! I was so looking forward to tonight's show as it was going to be my only live show this year. However, as luck would have it, my first class in my MBA program is tonight! You know even I would not have the guts to miss that! Have a great birthday. I DO know that Cary and Robert G. will be at the show. Again, happy birthday you young whipper snapper, Tom MaKinster
  6. As a 1979 grad, I would love to see a show on campus. Hmmm, maybe vacation time!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The burg is a long way from Cleveland, Ohio!
  7. Jeff, Let me know if the drums are still available. Thanks Tom MaKinster
  8. To Mike and ALL of the CRU Family, I think back to the winter before the 2004 season, the fun I had with you foks during our mini min corps tour :-), and am so happy for everyone. You fought the odds and beat them! I for one am very proud and wish you the very best tomorrow night! GO CRU! Tom MaKinster
  9. Hi Tom, How's the Northwest? See... another one of Bobby's boys has surfaced! Tom MaKinster
  10. I hit this thread late, but here's my take on the all girl side: I voted for the Mello Dears because they were like a sister corps to us (just a few miles up rt 17 in NY). Bob Zazzara did their brass and we had an opportunity to play a few parade tunes together in our early days. Now, as for the hottest, in deference to all of our Mello Dear friends, Les Chatelines were (can I say this?) the hottest. (Slipping into memory mode) Toppsfield Fairgrounds at the World Open in either the late 60's or early 70's. Les Chatelines was staying at the same place. WOW...
  11. Shimes, DO I take it that you marched with Grenadiers and Mark Twain? What years did you march? I might know you!
