As far as Scholastic A Guards in Texas go, i have to agree that this year they are all setting new standards. My favorites are Little Elm, Spring, Keller, The Woodlands, and Aledo. These guards continue to impress me!

So... now that we are fully into this winterguard season, what are everyones favorite shows they've seen so far? Personally, my favorites so far have to be Cypress Independent, Mansfield HS, and Little Elm HS. All these guards are making Texas proud! Keep up the great work everyone!

That's so great to hear! Also, I was not trying to be critical of the shows, i was simply taken back about how high they were :) Its great that they were deserved. Did any guards really stand out to you? I heard Hide and Seek is back....

I think its odd that these judges are supposed to go by the same guidelines, and the Rochester scores were very low and the Austin scores were very high in comparison to the local circuit scores.

i agree ;) i didnt expect that many guards to break an 80 at this point in the season, i cant wait to see what happens in the Houston Regional.. does anyone have any thoughts about the Scholastic A or Open Performances? i heard that ars nova and cypress were great, but im my opinion i favor the classiness of Cypress's show to the creepiness of ars novas... just my opinion. I wish i could have been there last night!
