I built the Excel sheet to already have Allentown built in, so each corps has an effective 0 for a third score at this time. I could've done it /2 but I was lazy and already have all the regionals built in to the format.

Hey all, I got bored and did the math. Every year, DCI determines the Prelims line-up by averaging the scores from San Antonio, Atlanta (if present), Winston-Salem (if present), and Allentown. If a corps is at both Atlanta and Winston-Salem, they average those scores. Below is the ranked list of every World Class corps, their current regional average, and how much higher of a score than the corps in front of them they need to outrank them; for example, if Blue Devils score a 95.000 in Allentown and Boston Crusaders score higher than a 98.250, they will be the #1 rank for Prelims. For certain tight groups (2-4, 5-7, and 17-19), I'll also list the score needed to jump to the top of that group; for example, if Boston Crusaders score a 95.000 and Carolina Crown scores higher than a 95.463 and scores higher than Bluecoats, Carolina Crown will jump both of them and become the #2 rank. As we saw last year with 11-14, performance order doesn't fully matter, but it's a fun thing to look at. Not my official vote (that's for BK), but my "I want drama so give me drama/I just thought about the Hunger Games again recently" vote goes like this: Prelims: tie for 12th, Crossmen and Spirit. Semis: One of them scores higher, there is no tie and one sister corps knocks the other out of Finals. 😈😈😈

Sad that we won't be able to see them on Flo again until the 20th, I can't wait to see how huge of a step they take over the next 12 days.

Did you know that Bluecoats members this year were required to be fans of a certain horror franchise? In fact, if you go to the corps' main office and look at their movie section, you'll see a copy of Saw , and Saw, and Saw, and Saw....

If it does rain, I'll take the blame. Besides Indy in 2021 and 2022, I've had tickets to three shows: Lisle in 2010, Rockford in 2022, and this one. I'm (partially) 2/3 so far....

Always love seeing Vienna Teng in a repertoire. I got to meet her last December in Chicago and to say it was a dream come true is an understatement. Plus her concert, as the kids say, "slapped."

I've never been the biggest Blue Stars fan until now, I'm in love with this show. Easily my favorite since Le Tour.

I really dug this show more than I thought I would up until the ending tag with Dvorak, that just seemed like an added "Oh hey, we need to playing Coming Home" afterthought. I still feel like Colts will miss, but I won't be upset if this show sneaks in either.

Finals ending: there's a Tilt-like run and jump from the harmonica player into the sun.
