I have a friend who would very much like to march his age out but unfortunately couldn't make any audition camps. Do you guys know of any corps with open mellophone spots in the midwest?
Thanks!
In regards to auditions this winter, I have always been very interested in becoming a Cavalier but I have recently been looking into Phantom Regiment as well. I am not sure if I want to go to both camps. Can you guys tell me what the philosophies of these two different organizations are along with how they run things and the general atmosphere of rehearsals? I am a very good mellophone player, and I consider myself a very chill and laid back person. I also have experience with the Colts and the Troopers. Which corps do you think would be a good fit for me?
Thanks!
IMO Brass isn't everything
If you're going to beat BD, you're going to have to beat them in everything. Not just brass
BD has no weaknesses right now and honestly I don't think Crown can overcome that in the 9 days we have left of the season
Cavies 2006 (Machine,enough said)
Phantom 2008 (Try to get any non drum corps follower to name any other Phantom show other than this one!)
Blue Devils 2003 (This defined the Devs confidence and effortless aura of cool to me)
Cadets 2005 (Wow)
