Who says they don't march?

I never see a white whale. I never see the struggle to fight it. I never see Ahab. I never see Ishmael or Queequeg. It's hard to make out the Pequod. Just ugly uniforms and a great tosses. What is this show about? It doesn't need to be exact, but it does need to be a clear intent. I just don't see it.

SCV. Please use the whole field and march or change the rules. Not a fan! They do sound good though...but who doesn’t, in between the 30s and in front of the hash, standing still?

Music is cool. Not a fan of the drill or the guard compared to last year.

Always cool to see the flo camera man zoom in on the high cam when he notices they’re not using the whole field...like he undoubtedly will for SCV.

This whole discussion is a good example of why the judges judge the show on the field and not the one on the DVD. I'll take the judges result any day.

The fact that no current marching members have commented on this topic may indicate just how few current marching members actually read these forums. At the 2016 Atlanta show EVERY performing member and ALL staff were subjected to the searches prior to their performance as outlined by the OP.

Someone should actually time how often Blue Devils horn line stands still or moves slow during technical passages and compare it to Bluecoats and their movement and choreography. Oh wait...it's the judges who should be doing this!😜

Simple: March someplace else first, then audition for BD.
