After an early season lull, Skyward Productions is pleased to see Aurora Regiment's scores rocket them into 4th place going in to finals week. Several big late season changes in the production helped produce the higher scores, especially in music, that the directors had been wanting to see. With only several more potential changes to make, the members of this corps and the staffing as well, are excited at the prospect of Aurora Regiment possibly seeing their second consecutive medal; which is less than a tenth of a point out of reach at the moment.

Congrats to The Knights for pulling off the Gold medal. Also shoutout to the Violet Knights for tying with Aurora Regiment for the Silver! This has been a pretty crazy debut season for AR concluding with a jump from 3rd to 11th and finally back to 2nd. Can't wait to debut my Open and A corps next season!

I would like to preface this by saying I don't actually know if this is the right place to post this, or if I'm even allowed to post here. If this is wrong, can someone let me know where to post, or simply move the thread? Thank you! I noticed today when attempting to update captions for finals that there were four sets of captions I tried to submit and couldn't because someone else had already submitted the same choices before I even had the chance to do so. I understand the need for this, however this format rewards the people who update their captions earlier. So, because everyone is on a 24 hour personal clock, those who tend to update their captions earlier in the day have an advantage over the people whose clock doesn't reset until later, because it gives them the first chance at better captions. So essentially my proposal is this: Finals Week Caption Unlock: For finals week, rather than being on a personal 24 hour clock, captions unlock for everyone at the same time as soon as scores for that night have been posted. This eliminates certain people gaining an advantage by having first choice of captions, just because their clock resets earlier.

Unfortunately, despite the changes made to Aurora Regiment's show, their visual ended up dropping last night, as well as GE, nearly putting them out of finalist range, as they are going in to finals in 11th place, dropping from 3rd. Hopefully any last-second changes will help the corps get back up to a higher position which they had been retaining for a few shows and possibly even finish as a medalist.

After the Visual Coordinator for Aurora Regiment made some final changes, the show really took off last night, sending the corps rocketing to 3rd place to take the Bronze at prelims. With luck, these last few shows and rehearsals will be enough to give them the last few tenths of a point they need to take home the Gold during this corps debut season. In other news, Skyward Productions is proud to announce that now that our staff can be a little more committed, we will also be debuting an Open and A Class corps during the coming Season 25, we hope that they will be as successful as Aurora has been thus far.
