  1. I’d disagree with that, but I wouldn’t want the vocals if a corps did a Rush show. Love Geddy.
  2. I know it’s about shows being rained out and the heat. But there’s something special about going to watch a drum corps show in a crappy high school stadium. At least to me
  3. Same, but I definitely prefer to let someone out than to ask to be let out
  4. The seat jumpers are normal and don't bother me very much as long as they’re polite and leave when the real seat holders show up. But I agree, it added to the congestion a lot
  5. I think it was about $680 last year for super 3. The price increase for next year didn’t seem too drastic to me
  6. Huh. I went down there once and saw a DCI sticker on the door and I guess I just assumed
  7. When did they move from downtown? Didn’t it used to be close to the Weber Grill?
  8. It’s what I saw. I don’t know if the fan he shoved said something to him (which is entirely possible)
  9. I also witnessed a corps staff member shove his way past a man to get to where the corps staff stands and hold his badge up and say “you see this buddy?! You know what this means?” I get that they need to get to where they can watch the show, but shoving people is not the way to do it.
  10. I also had an issue in the entranceways, two times I tried to walk in as a corps was setting up, but I saw both fans and corps members blocking the entrance so people couldn’t get through. At intermission it was impossible to move because people were standing on the wall.
  11. And the people standing IN THE AISLES talking to people. I said at least 10 times this week that people have no situational awareness.
  12. I think that plus some kind of phonetic spelling like someone else mentioned would be beneficial for next season
  13. I saw someone on Reddit imply he was a racist for this 🙄
  14. Ah, I remember now. I’m surprised that wasn’t taken care of before this year.
  15. That’s never been something I’ve cared about or even thought about. We know the kids in the corps appreciate the fans response to their shows, and that’s plenty of thanks.
  16. I looked from my seats (I was in 140. Row 3) and didn’t see anyone up there that even remotely looked like him.
  17. I saw his Facebook post from last night saying he isn’t retiring. I’m so glad
  18. Nah, it’s about the performers. Thanking their families and the music teachers is more than enough. It’s not about the fans, and it shouldn’t be about the fans.
