Our attorney handled it for us. The individual left the organization. Amazing what absolute truth as a defense can do. However the counter suit for all of the organizations assets helped too.

IMO it’s hard to believe Dan wasn’t aware. I was made aware of the allegations through the grapevine so to speak and I certainly don’t work at DCI. I sent an email to DCI’s attention about a known nationally registered child sex offender involved with an organization and never received a response or acknowledgement. Sent an email about the lack of security at Lucas Oil Stadium too. Never received a response or acknowledgement. When I see people wearing an all-access badge pulling luggage inside the stadium and never being screened and/or checked for explosives, I become concerned. Put that’s a separate issue and I don’t want to drift off topic. So yeah I believe that all of DCI - Dan included have become complacent. Either lead or get the out of the way. DCI’s response to this abuse was like - oh we’re sorry we left the barn door open better close it now. Incompetent comes to mind.

DCI - you have a problem

Don't know why but I just had a vision of a lot of people within DCI running to the door or jumping out of windows.

Before making any BOD changes review the bylaws. Would love to review a copy to learn how the president and other members are appointed. Would think that the organization will require a complete internal financial audit now too.

Either way the corps must go forward. On with the show.

IMO it’s entirely too early in the discovery phase of these allegations to know for sure what the repercussions will be on the entire activity. Just don’t believe there is a quick fix to rid the activity of this behavior. Hope I’m wrong.

What have you done for DC in the last few decades? Made a donation, volunteered, bought a ticket, sponsored a member or just sit on a rock with your longie in front of the stadium in Scranton.

I don’t get the training of the staff approach. If there needs to be any training it should be for the MM’s so they can recognize and report unwanted and unwarranted behavior. The staff just needs to understand that you don’t FTK’s.

I can’t help what you believe and I can understand you’re having a difficult time believing Terri, however I found it difficult to believe when he was telling us how he became Mr. Peabody Chairmen of the Cadets BOD’s. We looked at each with this okay look on our face. Email him yourself and ask him directly because he didn’t seem hesitant to tell us.

Rich is a stand up man with impeccable integrity. Cadets2 are in the best of hands under his leadership.

I would think there will be restructuring with some oversight from individual alumni. Painful as it will be this process has got to begin for the future of the corps. The corps is the most important thing above and beyond any one person.
