Don't be so quick to switch to a baritone. For me carrying a contra (tuba) was much easier on my back than a bari. Holding a baritone out in front of you will put a lot of stress on your upper back. I agree, cardio cardio cardio!! T25 is an excellent workout to build endurance.

LOL, I think you all are being duped! I bet this was the scenario, a couple guys got cut from a DCI corps last year or didn't make the cut this year at the Cavies, Scouts, Bluecoats, Colts...you pick the corps. Got hammered one night, say, February 5th around 9:30 to 10:30, bemoaning the fact that "if we RAN things it would be different". I can just imagine the wild things they came up with that didn't make it to their "website" or in this thread's initial post. Notice the time stamp on the initial post. C'mon guys, getting drunk on a Wednesday night when you have school the next morning, tsk tsk. Hope you weren't late for homeroom. If you do get this off the ground, maybe you should change your name to "THE LITTLE RASCALS DRUM & BUGLE CORPS". Sorry for being a skeptic, it just doesn't add up. If you do get this going and you are able to go into a second season, I will gladly make a donation to your organization.

Congratulations to MBI on a great season, and to the Bucs, WOW, wish I could have seen this show live. Congrats to all the corps this year, awesome show from start to finish.

Congratulations MBI and Govenaires. Awesome job everyone. Also congratulations to the Reading Buccaneers on an incredible streak that I don't think will ever be broken. Wish I could have gone but I promised Gavin that I wouldn't jinx the corps and show up at the last minute Another 80 pounds to lose and I'm ready to help defend the title next year.

After tonight, that would not surprise me in either class.

I had a couple freezes but for 20 bucks, it was well worth it and a big thank you to dca and the fan network for doing this. It was alot cheaper than airfare and hotel in Rachacha. Woould loved to have been there though. Darn economy and only getting 20 hours of work per week.

I've been here since July of '03 with just a few dozen posts, this guy is why I don't post very often. MBI has ALWAYS been gracious in wherever they have placed and the same can be said for the Buccaneers. I would love to march with them before I die. Also would love to march with Brass again. Kilties.....not so much, I don't have the legs for a Kilt. Love the Kilties though. Congratulations to all corps this year.

Brass has the total show concept down. Best CG integration with the rest of the corps hands down, Awesome job, just saw the bucs defeated IMHO.
