  1. Aldo, you wimp! I figured you to go join & march with the Lakeshormen. What's wrong?? All tuckered out?, or don't wanna hang w/Kemo? Say "Hi" to Sas for us! Ming
  2. JC, And just who would the others be? Ming the Merciless
  3. Nice linup..but why so many Bands? Is $$$ the reason? How about importing a Corps from the Midwest, or further West? Since we've seen Kilties out there in the 90's, how bout Chops, or Royal Airs? Ming the Merciless
  4. I feel that Sr. Corps should be just that..for the Sr. performing Members... specifically over 21.I have marched in a Sr. Corps that allowed more, and more "underage" Members in, and it was not like the kind of fun it should/could of been. Ming the Merciless
  5. " it seems that alumni corps do their exhibition during semi's or quarters. Am I incorrect about that, or were we the only ones that did it on finals night, going on last, not first? I say last not first because there may be corps that do exhibitions early in the evening, but we were on finals night, the final corps on." So sorry, but Kilties Jr.Alumni Corps performed last at Camp Randall in 92 I was performming with them. Ming the Merciless
  6. My God..my Brother Lothar is gone. I was the first Mello the Sr. Kilties had, and can take pride in saying that I helped recruit Joel into the Sr. Corps back in the spring of 93 to become the second Mello in the Sr.Corps. I had just spoken to Lothar last week on the phone to wish him and the Sr. Kilties well at DCA. Lothar recently moved to Racine earlier this Summer, approx. 2 miles down the road from me. We were to hook up after Monday so he could tell me all about the 05 Scranton trip. Now, I guess I'll still hook up with him, but not in the same sense as before. Now,their is only JC, and myself still left around from the 93 Sr.Kilties Mello line. J.C., I was looking tonite at the pic of the three of us taken together by Pat Reilly up in So.Mil right before the 94 Show. I also found several more pics I have that include yourself,Lothar, and myself. I am sure I will see you this week. I will bring them then. R.I.P. Lothar..I see you sometime down the road, Rick Hoefert
  7. GEEZ...can't we agree to disagree? While I'm no HoF'r, or a Sop Soloists, I respect other DCA Members right to their opinions. I for one can't see why they have eliminated the Exibition performances on Friday night.Maybe they could hold something earlier on Friday for these Corps who want to "show their stuff", but for one reason,or another don't feel comfortable performing a field show.Maybe this would give an incentive for these Corps to field a Show in the Alumni portion of DCA weekend next year? The above refers to not having a Exibition at the I&E on Friday night{i.e. RA} I think this was an excellent part of the Friday night festivities, with the exception of the lack of food/beer at the Mountain. 8. Ok Kiltie Trivia Buffs...what famous Sr. Kiltie resided within the confines of the above Map, and what was the name of the Street they lived on? Ming the Merciless
  9. Bro JC, If the ole' girl still has that spinner knob I put on her in 99, I'd like it back as a memento. Ming the Merciless
  10. Hey John, Tell Jim Reilly Rupert's buddy Rick from Racine says "HI" Ming the Merciless
