  1. This is greatly appreciated by those of us who couldn't make it to the show. Thanks so much! Alice Krumenaker Communication Raiders Drum & Bugle Corps
  2. If you are in the New Jersey area and have food service experience or are a CDL truck driver, we'd love to have you join the Raiders on this year's tour. We also have an immediate need for bingo workers and assistance with uniform alterations. Please contact me if you'd like more information, or if you can help with any of the above. Come join the Raiders family! Alice Krumenaker Communication Coordinator Raiders Drum & Bugle Corps alice@raidersdbc.org
  3. Good luck Bryan! I hope you're able to locate your camera. Alice
  4. The Raiders are another possibility that may work for you. Although we're a little farther away, we have members from PA and may be able to set up a car pool. I just finished my first season there on the support/admin staff and I can tell you that I truly enjoyed being a part of this team. Keep an eye on their website: http://raidersdbc.org for info about the upcoming season. Alice Krumenaker
  5. I took OMH's advice - had Doug make me a sandwich and went to bed, so I'm just waking up to the scores. Wish I could have been there, but we'll be out in Pasadena soon. I was waiting to see how things went for Spirit of Newark/NJ. We've been helping them this year and they're an awesome group of kids! -AK
  6. Any scores and/or reviews from Tucsan tonight would be appreciated. I'm home in Jersey just waiting for some news.
  7. As far as I know, all is well with the Spirit of Newark. I believe they had a minor schedule change and started their tour a few days later than originally planned. With the schedule change, they weren't able to make the Van Buren show. I think they're still planning to be at the show in Tucson on August 2.
  8. Does anyone know how the Spirit broadcast on Fox went? Did the weather hold out?
  9. Do you know what time, or which show, Spirit of NJ will be on? I'd love to catch it if I can.
  10. I'm helping the coordinator of the Monmouth Area Multiple Sclerosis Bike Tour because she ran into a snag with this year's event. Due to unforeseen conflicts, the musicians that planned to perform at the bike tour had to cancel out. The event is coming up quickly and we have not been able to locate a replacement for the original performers. At this point, we are really starting to run out of time! I know everyone's schedules start to book up quickly at this time of year, but if you're in the South Jersey area and are available the weekend of May 19, please consider helping this very worthwhile organization. If you are interested, please PM me at alicek35@yahoo.com or you can contact the event coordinator directly. I've included her contact information, and a message from her below. Thanks in advance for your help! Alice Krumenaker ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am the MS Bike Tour Manager and on May 19, 20 – we will be having our 16th Annual Bike Tour. This a million dollar event that has over 1700 participants all coming together for a great cause: to help end MS. I am reaching out to you in hopes that you would be able to support us. The bike tour begins in Monmouth University and ends the first day at Pinelands Regional School in Tuckerton – at this point the cyclists are so excited about completing the first day that they look forward to a great HOORAH. Here is where we need support. I am looking for a band, a corps, or possibly trumpet players to welcome the cyclists in on the first day. Any type of support would be appreciated. We are also in need of performers at the end of day 2 which takes place in Cape May at the Coast Guard Station. This is a great event and the cyclists are awesome people that have done so much in the past. We would love to recognize their support. I look forward to your response. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me at the phone number listed below. Thank you.
