  1. PC, right before you guys tune up for DCI finals week, you always look like a 11-13 place corps at the finals but what momentum you had is gone when you that 2-3 week break that comes in mid to late July. I 'm hoping this chances for 2006 and see you place in the top 12 instead of 17-19 place in the past. That 2-3 week break is just a killer but I know it's needed to clean things up. I hope the judges give your corps a break because this past summer at the DCI finals, it didn't happen. Success to 2006 PC.
  2. Just what are the Pioneers suppose to play? Hip Hop!!! Good luck Pioneers for 2006.
  3. A dark horse corps, the REVO if they go D2. Plenty of talent.
  4. Please explain in 2002 when Revo won DIII, what kind of talent did they have to work with? They were only out for a couple of years and the talent level must of been top notch to pull this off. So, quit taking about the talent for the big name DCI corps being so superior to DII/III. It's size not talent that's made a big difference in Texas.
  5. I was hoping that DCI & DCA could work things out for another show this up coming year in Madison but I guess it won't happen. Maybe the 2005 final's with Seniors wasn't a great sucess? Anyone have any insight as to why it's not happenings for 2006?
  6. Watch Revo, in 2002 they won DCI D3 after only being out for a couple years. Look at the turn out for Nov. camp and that spells good news for Texas. Good luck in 06 to Revo & Trinity.
  7. Haven't herd anything from this corps that didn't march over the past summer. Any news about their plans for 2006?
  8. Did anyone else catch the comment about the Brooklyn Steppers Marching Band about they combined with the Cadets of NY drum corps, to march this event? One of the announcers mention this on NBC as they were performing. I thought the Cadets of NY had folded?
  9. Looks like no top 5 Midwest or northern corps, touring CA or the Northwest in 2006.
  10. Why beat up on this new corps who are trying to make a difference for the youth in AZ. Hope Jester have a successful summer in 2006.
  11. Inknew thing were in trouble when last summer they would have shows with either no scores or some crazy scores that you couldn't figure out. But despite it's problems, DCM is still needed in todays drum corps activity.
  12. Wasn't there a long trend about YEA putting together a drum corps thoughout some high school's? I believe it was suppose to happen in the east. I'm thinking NY or NJ but I haven't heard anything else about this project. Does anyone remember such a trend a couple of months ago?
  13. I agree, Glassmen soloist from 01 & 02 I'm sorry just put him in the Hall of Fame. He was that good.
  14. Jeff you are right. I remember back in the early 70's the only seniors out west were Mn Brass,Inc & The Spirit or Boys of 76. That was pretty much it..............maybe I'm missing someone else.
  15. I remember back in 1972 at the World Open, I marched in a corps name the Diplomat-Lancers and we scored 19.45 which is not that bad after hearing about some of these score.
