Interests
It was a hobby at one time, but, Ive been an actor since 1991. Mostly musical theater. It has afforded me wonderfull opportunities to use drum corps musical training and also travel extensively.

I was with the Kiev Opera for a season and the Heritage Opera Company in England for 3 seasons. NO not an opera drum corps...these days, I sing;-)

I have two major hobbies....bicycling and travel. Cycled Munich/Vienna 2001. Across Florida 2003. Fav trip? Helsinki Finland to St Petersburg Russia 2004.

Travel? 31 countries so far. Lived in London, Barcelona, Moscow. St Petersburg Russia this summer.

Thank you all.....and Ive been told the Cadets are at Father Lopez HS Thank you for your responses ! -
I live in the area...anyone know where Bluecoats, Cadets or Boston are staying/rehearsing? THANKS in advance

I have to say between the video broadcast being a bust(people are demanding refunds) and the lack of info on DCP. and the DCA site...this may be one of the worst DCAs ever communication-wise......Rochester is my hometown...ive marched more than a few DCAs .......it sure seems like theyve dropped the ball this year

Star..always clean but extremely boring...... Where are the rest of the scores...I have to say between the video broadcast being a bust(people are demanding refunds) and the lack of info on DCP. and the DCA site...this may be one of the worst DCAs ever communication-wise

Friday night parade who's in it ?
MDempsey replied to Florida Sun's topic in DCA - All-Age Corps Discussions
Many corps dont want to expend energy walking 4mi and would rather practice than do a parade... When I was in St Josephs we often did several parades on major weekends...was pretty common and we got paid by whatever fire dept wanted us and prise money if we won the performance part of it I just read from a friend on Facebook that the Reilly Raiders bus just left for Rochester...some people have to work. I have talked to many a corps member about the DCA parade and so far no one has mentioned getting paid. -

Guess Who?
MDempsey replied to NanciD's topic in DCA All-Age Corps and Alumni Corps Historical Forum
Tom...your memory never ceases to amaze me! Indeed I never played with the Brigs but i did play one summer in that area with the Magnificent Yankees. I wasnt aware of people not being asked back to Cru and that is distressing, but I left in 1973 for London so i wouldnt have known if i was invited or not LOL.I am now retired and split my time netween Florida and Costa Rica....and taking trips...last one was London Olympics. Amazing memory my friend! -
