Cdatedms
"DRUM CORES INTERNATIONAL" red, white and blue on the side jumbotron at the 2005 World Championships at Gillette Stadium. The error isn't that large, but it probly has more meaning considering its FINALS and it's being seen by 50 thousand people.... Funniest thing I've ever seen..shame on dci
ItsOnTheField
The announcer in LaPorte, Indiana could not say "Northern Aurora" when they were there. It sounded more like "Northern Araraaaa"
Zeke
I think the real catastrophes happen when the drum major's names get announced. Wev'e got ourselves a WINNER!!! Didn't the announcer i wanna say finals night at 05' Foxboro invert part of the first and last name of 1 of the Cadets DM's? When i was in the stands and heard that.. : ) Edited December 25, 2007 by Zeke
Schickmeister
a (seemingly major) brass judge in the northwest this past year got 3/4 of the way through calling us "the blue devils" on our tape. i dont march in the blue devils, for those who werent sure. Ugh...I remember that judge... And thats all I will say about that.
Aelius
During Macy's Thanksgiving Parade one year:"The Cadets Drum & Corps" Actually it was "The Cadets and Bugle Corps" I accidently called Crossmen "Crosswind" at a show once, because I was talking about Crossmen, but thinking about Southwind. Curiously enough, Southwind wasn't even at that show.
CrunchyTenor
I used to hate it when SCV was called Vanguards. Even the editor of the VK newsletter when I marched did that. Drives me nuts! Garry in Vegas
Piper
I once heard someone (obviously confused) call the Caballeros the "Cavalieros". No kidding.
FrontierEuph
We've had DCA checks made out to "Frontier's Men". And often we get "The Frontiers", sorta like MCL gets called the Music City Legends.
