TOS TICKETS ON SALE

Recommended Posts

The 2nd half was canceled.

Selden, St. Rita's, Park City, Scout House, and Blessed Sac. all performed.

(EXTREMELY WELL, I MIGHT ADD!!!)

Then, there was a lengthy delay, maybe 40 minutes, and the Bayonne Police decided that the risk was too great with the lightning, and storms that were looming.

But, the Bridgemen DID choose to perform several of the songs from our repertoire, in ensemble formation, just before the skies opened up, and as soon as we finished...

There was QUITE A DELUGE!!!!!!

We had a wonderful time performing, and the audience, which still numbered over one thousand people, also enjoyed the show, with great enthusiasm!

Then...

EVERYBODY ran for cover!!!!!! :ninja:

We wish that Cabs Alumni, Bushwackers, and Jersey Surf were able to perform their shows, but Mother Nature had other ideas tonight!

Thanks to all who came out and supported the 2008 Tournament of Stars!!!!!!

So sorry to hear the SHOW was cut short, Jim.

Most of SKY Alumni were on the bus, returning from an upstate NY Gig Sat., @ about 8 P.M. and all were expressing concern for the safety and good times of everyone @TOS.

Glad to hear the first half Corps were on the Field, and got thru their exhibitions...especially Scout House, with that long, long trip!

Looking forward to 7/5, @ my hometown stadium, and the Grand Prix, same place, on the 12th.

C y'all "upfield"!

Bill, and other Sky Alumni members...

Thanks for your concern!

It was really quite a day and night of extreme weather! From very hot, and sunny, to heavy rains, thunderstorms, and recurrent lightning!

Thank God, everyone was safe, and we were able to squeeze out five corps, and an ensemble performance in between the thunderstorms!

Sky Alumni were GREATLY missed!!!

Hope that your parade went well, and we all look forward to seeing you at the Grand Prix, on July 12th!!!

Jim
