I posted some last year under YouTube.

Given the interest in our show, based on the actual people in the theater, I didn't post a specific site this year. Other than on BucBoards.

But since you asked, here's a link to the Buccaneer Alumni Corps performance. This is a link to one of the songs.

The other songs are on the same site along with other Bucs Alumni performances. This years' are marked with the song title and the date to differentiate them from last year's.

Admit I'm biased as Lancers also play a version of the National Anthem. But hearing the Buccs play this is always one of my highpoints of the SIB. Nothing like all brass playing a solid brass version.

PS - Marty who was the arranger?

Jeff Kolb, also our instructor, arranged it and some of the other pieces.

That is Jeff directing the Anthem.

Here are the three of Mass Brass from the after party. Enjoy.

They are on the Mass Brass web site also.

I would sure like to see any from the Forum show if there are any out there.

Jim,

I remember, maybe 10 years ago being at the Mushroom Festival parade in Kennett Square, PA and there were a lot of corps there.

In the parking lot after the parade I seem to remember the Bucs Alumni corps playing "Beyond the Sea" for you guys as you came into the parking lot. We may have played a couple of more tunes. Then, in kind, you guys played a mini concert for us.

It was a hot, hot day, but I remember you played "Star Wars" and it sounded real good.

Not bad for a bunch of old guys, after a long parade, on a really hot day!

Sorry that was before my time as playing for other corps is always fun. Did that with Shenadoah Sound a few times in Winchester before the parade and the people nearby ate it up. Especially as one of the ShenSound guys would literally throw down the challenge glove. Let's see that's 8-12 members versus a few times that. :bluedevil:

LOL, "Star Whor..." oops "Star Wars" got reused a few years ago. We played our whole book at a gig and SW still sounded pretty good so it got dusted off as a parade tune.

Here's the media link on Hanovers webpage. Bottom of the page has a movie of us playing the National Anthem at a ball game. It was taken from the stands by a friend of the corps but the sound is not that bad. http://www.hanoverlancers.com/lancers_downloads.htm

Note: Sound from the top group of links (York Revolution) isn't that great. Not sure if it was the equipment or echo effect off the stadium walls (we were outside in the parking lot).
