I don't want to sound negative here, but I have a question. What DCI or DCA Competing Corps are using "G" Bugles, as referred to in this article? These instruments are primarily utilized by Alumni Corps these days. Correct me if I'm wrong here but I believe that all Div. I DCI, and most DCA Competing Corps are now using B-flat instruments? Comments, and/or clarifications, please?

I think that article is several years old.1997 to be exact.

These instruments are primarily utilized by Alumni Corps these days.

And by many of your DCA open and class A corps as well.

We will stay in G but will probably go to 3 valve G bugles when money allows. :tongue::tongue::thumbup:

We may also have some band horns for small ensemble gigs locally. I'm talking maybe 12 pieces total.
