Impeccable mello duet before the corps finishes the song.

Brand New Key. Horn trio opens the show while the rest of the horn line does some simple foot moves while playing background. Snares are now on washboards. Nice saber catch by one of the snares! Didn't see that last night. Now the snares are grabbing extra bass drums from the front sideline. All the basses are set on the ground and they pull off a nice Pokey Stomp moment.

The backfield conductor is marching in the horn line and carrying his stand instead of a horn. Now the corps is in a company front and doing leg kicks, including the DM with stand and the drums.

Bari solo opens out Without You before becoming a bari duet.. Very nice and tasteful.

Considering how some of these songs can get cheesy, Chops is going a good job of letting just enough cheese into the show to make it fun without getting annoying.

Corps finishes the ballad rather quickly, turns backfield, and moves into Saturday Night's All Right For Fighting.

Mellos start the song on melody, standing in a group with crossed feet. Rest of the corps joins in on the 2nd iteration of the melody.

Drum feature, mixed in with horn playing - baris and basses, mellos and snares. Horns are now up front and jamming.

"Saturday, Saturday, Saturday night's all right"

Nice groove happening at this point in the song.

Corps is now building up to the final climax of the show. Right before the last big note, the corps stops in a company front, then they all come walking up to the front sideline, yelling to the crowd, before stopping behind the pit for the final chord. They take their time with it, too, which is a great finish to the show.

John Donovan, Publisher of Drum Corps Planet, just got major props from Tom Peashey, tonight's announcer, on the complete success of last night's DCP coverage, photos, and video clips. Over 57,000 hits during Prelims.
