rightofway
There was definitely a BD - Phantom rivalry this year. I heard about 2 BD members actually breaking and pushing a Phantom member before ATB at a show. Can anyone confirm this? Well considering that BD and Phantom never had ATB together the entire summer (except for the 4th of july when it was with Academy, PC, and Vanguard at the Rose Bowl and each corps had their own separate arc), you have been lied to. Pretty close to what happened.... Just because they didn't have ATB together doesn't mean the incident didn't occur
MetalTones2012
There are/were some pretty big rivalries in Open Class too. Surf vs Raiders (91-06, still traces left) Spartans vs ECJ (90's-06) Surf vs Spartans (07) Teal vs everybody (07-present) BDB vs SCVC (for all eternity) Impulse vs VK (07-present) Spokane vs OC (08-present) Citations vs Raiders (08-present, this one's still debatable, but it seems like it's there despite the scores) Raiders vs LVK vs Cadets of NYC (early 2000's)

Glassmen - Marion Cadets Mid 70's As far as the Glassmen - Spirit. This is new to me. I never heard any stories about a Glassmen, Spirit rivalrie. I am not saying there was not one. Just saying I never was told the story. Dean HAVE A SAFE HOLIDAY.

TrooKvltContra
Do not get a Revolution member started on the Crossmen. Especially after the "The only corps from Texas" stunt was pulled at the night show at the SA regional.

The Crossmen have more Revolution vets than Revolution does. I don't think that constitutes a rivalry. Especially when they don't compete against eachother. To the educated drum corps fan it was "The only [World Class] corps from Texas"...it was implied, because it was a world class show. I understand how to random Joe off the street they wouldn't realize this, but to someone who really actually knows, they'd know what was implied. Drew Wilkie
No other rivalry has matched the intensity of that which existed between Boston and 27th.
