What was the best all-around year of Drum Corps in the 90's?

1999 with 1997 a close 2nd. It's hard for me to find shows from either year's top 12 that I don't enjoy.

probably 91 92 or 96, i like it when people win who haven't won before.

1994 Finals

Division 3 - Americanos

Division 2 - Pioneer (they had the balls to play Danny Boy in 27 territory)

Division 1 - Blue Devils, My Spanish Heart

Honorable Mention - The Pirates of Lake Mendota

1. 1999- BD- rhythms, SCV- inventions(best opener ever), Cadets- big apple, Madison- JCS(last truly great scouts show), BK- trittico

2. 1997- BD- as time, Phantom- the ring(oft overlooked), Madison- pirates, Xmen- colors, Cavies- firebird(also oft overlooked)

3. 1996- BD- club blue, Phantom- defiant, Cadets- american west, SCV- la mer, Madison- part dos, Crown- chess(my fav crown show), BK- ron nelson

4. 1993- Cadets- spring kings, Star- the #####(in cook's own words), BD- don ellis, Xmen- earth part 2(best of the trilogy)

5. 1990- Cadets- bernstien, BD- tommy, SCV- carmen, Madison- undiscovered(love lemon squeeze)

6. 1995- Cavies- planets(first show i ever saw), Cadets- american quintet, BD- carpe noctem, Madison- fans dream, Bluecoats- 1945, Crown- stormworks

7. 1998- Cadets- stonehenge(true greatness), SCV- modernist copland, BD- one hand, one heart, Madison- power and stuff(rememberence is best closer ever), Xmen- metheny

8. 1994- BD- spanish heart(best champion show of 90s), Cadets- west side story, Phantom- summer night, Xmen- earth part 3

9. 1991- Star- roman, SCV- miss saigon, Cadets- abc's, Madison- angels, Sky Ryders- camelot(god I miss the sky ryders)

10. 1992- Cavies- revolution, Cadets- perilous, Star- american, Xmen- earth part 1, SCV- fiddler(i love this show)
