I'll keep it updated in this first post. Additionally, unless there is a topic already open about this discussion (I haven't been around DCP much this summer) I think this would be a good place to hear what DCP thinks of their use in shows they've seen this summer. Who's using them the best, or worst? Who is having balance issues and who has figured it out? Which corps have moments in their shows in which synths either add or detract from the overall sound? Lance Posted July 12, 2010 Share Posted July 12, 2010 not noticing a ton of "OMG ALL I CAN HEAR IS THE BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM OF SYNTHETIC BASS" this year....but that will change when it gets in the oil can I think. It's funny to me that there are very few venues that any corps play in the entire summer with similar acoustics to that monstrous thing. As such, I expect mixes to be egregious again this year.
