TheWhacker
Great review! Thanks to all corps for making Thunder feel so welcome. Also, thank you to Shenandoah Sound for hosting such an awesome show! See you all next weekend for Drums Along the Sun Coast!

pahootaman
The female drum major also performs with the color guard for part of the show. In recent years, it has been noted that the drum majors for Shenandoah Sound that take the field are distracting because they are dressed differently than the corps proper. This year, both field conductors wore black, which fit with the guard costumes and helped ease this distraction, however the female major needs to tone down the outfit a little and the makeup a LOT. She stuck out both on the podium and off. I thought she looked fine from where I was standing. She has a real Christie Spears Phantom '98 look to her. Sayre Kulp
I thought she looked fine from where I was standing. She has a real Christie Spears Phantom '98 look to her. Not meant to be insulting. Her outfit and makeup was vastly different from both the theme of the show, as well as her DM and color guard counterparts. This made her stand out, rather than blend in. That's all.
