dugada
Apparently DCI thinks they are all winners in their book: Open Class 1 7th Regiment 95.000 1 Blue Devils B 95.000 1 Blue Saints 95.000 1 Colt Cadets 95.000 1 Forte 95.000 1 Genesis 95.000 1 Jubal 95.000 1 Legends 95.000 1 Les Stentors 95.000 1 Music City 95.000 1 Oregon Crusaders 95.000 1 Racine Scouts 95.000 1 Raiders 95.000 1 Revolution 95.000 1 Spartans 95.000 1 Spirit of Newark/NJ 95.000 1 The Yokohama Scouts 95.000 1 Vanguard Cadets 95.000 Read more: http://www.dci.org/scores/#ixzz1UbDHkiHG
danieltenor
Jubal in 12th with 80.2 Don't know about Yokohama Scout, but they probably placed higher.
oldschooldbc
Whoops - Someone needs to add a new primary key (or unique key) to their relational database design. Only one score per corps per event, please! At a minimum, put in a constraint on the table, to enforce this rule. They can even find the code snippet here, that they can use to implement this change. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unique_key I hope someone at the DCI offices understands RDBMS design. Maybe not. (Then again, there is a lot that goes on nowadays in Indianapolis that makes no sense.)
JimBurnell
Gotta love Cartesian Joins. By process of elimination, Yokohama Scouts got 85.35.
JimBurnell
It's fixed now, plus recaps are up.

84BDsop
Imagine being on the field! Actually, I could. The way they announced the Open results last night is how they did it for the big boys in 84...we had with the captions being spread around that night (Guard BD, perc BD, M&M SCV/Garfield, brass BD/SCV/Garfield, GE Garfield) we had NO clue how it was gonna go until we got announced in 2nd....the stress was VERY high in the block. Madrid
Cheers to all of the Open Class groups this season! It was definitely one of the most exciting seasons Open Class, as we know it today, has seen. Great job to all the members, staff folks, directors (YAY MIKE Q!!!), volunteers, parents, fans and show/event types that made this season what it was! Now, on to bigger fish....GO OPEN CLASS!

Now, on to bigger fish....GO OPEN CLASS! ...and here's to a few that weren't there that would've caused some, er, disruption in the standings. All from SoCal: Gold (scored a 77 on 7/17) Impulse (just a few ticks under Gold on the same date) and VK (*really* closed the gap the last week or so with a cOol show!)...next year all three will be there to represent California, and I would be surprised if they all don't have very successful recruiting efforts this winter! I predict chaos in the Open ranks in 2012...in a GOOD way! cg
