Cainan
Not DCI (sorry...) but The Company, current DCE Champions, will present "Red Riding Hood" as their 2012 show. This will be a definitely darker turn for the ensemble as they will be telling the well known story in their own "unique way"... Could be a bit grimm... MikeN
Stravinsky's a good choice. He has a ton of stuff beyond the minimalist Rite of Spring stuff. And if they choose to, Firebird is cliche but is always a good option. Mike
7567BC
More "DCI 80s and 90s greatest hits"? Really? I don't have a problem with any corps playing music, good music, audience friendly progams from back then as I would like to hear what the shows sound like and look like with todays designers, tech's, instrumentation, pits, amps, and skills of today members. Maybe some of the shows can reach a whole new level.
craiga
More "DCI 80s and 90s greatest hits"? Really? Since most of the marching members probably weren't out of diapers the last time this Respighi material was performed, it will in all likelihood be fresh material for them. Last I knew, none of this music had an expiration date on it.

jjeffeory
More "DCI 80s and 90s greatest hits"? Really? As long as they're decent tunes, no problem, right?
