danielray
Eureka!!! I just figured something out... You are a dead ringer for the character Woodrow Parfrey played in the movie Outlaw Josey Wales!!! Never heard of it... is it a talkie? Stu
Never heard of it... is it a talkie? Arguably one of the greatest western movies and made in 1973. Anyway, Woodrow Parfrey played a Snake Oil Salesman Carpetbagger, and wow what a resemblance most all of your posts in multiple threads have to his sales tactics!!! Not selling anything... just observations. Only old Western I ever dug was Alejandro Jodorowsky's El Topo. Stu
Not selling anything... just observations.. Wrong, you have done way more than observe; you have engaged in debate. And anyone who engages in a debate, and not just observation, is attempting to sell their opinions and ideas to others. And because you claim that you are not selling anything brings you even that much closer to the Snake Oil Salesman character.
Stu
Only old Western I ever dug was Alejandro Jodorowsky's El Topo. I suggest those of you out there who have never seen this movie, or know it's cultist history, to study up on it. It will tell you a lot about what D-Ray "digs" (yep, I meant the pun concerning the word dig).

garfield
And I hate to pick nits (I lie, I love to pick nits), " Do you know the origin of the term "pick nits"?? Hopefully a skill that you did not have to use during your Drum Corps career... No, but it sounds like fun. Enlighten me, please! Wait. Never mind. I just read the history. I only learned about picking my seat, or picking my underwear out of my seat. Never had nits, thank goodness. Maybe it was a typo and supposed to be picnic; so that means we can pick our noses, pick our seats, and pick our underwear out of our seats, all the while enjoying ourselves at a picnic! JimF-LowBari
Question for the OP, what were the DCI related reasons Westshore Cadets folded? Wanna see if it matches with what the people who were there say. Or is this throwing 10 lbs of crap at the wall and see if any sticks to "prove" a point.
JimF-LowBari
Never heard of it... is it a talkie? "Don't #### on my back and tell me it's raining" was definitely heard when I saw it. Heavens knows I think of that line enough at work and online.
