combia1
The arrangements are usually so butchered, it sounds like "new" music anyway. I think you put your quotation marks around the wrong word. Shouldn't that read: The arrangements are usually so butchered, it sounds like new "music" anyway.
GeneralTsoChicken
I think you put your quotation marks around the wrong word. Shouldn't that read: The arrangements are usually so butchered, it sounds like new "music" anyway. Perhaps. I, however, was trying to reference the genre of educationalized music we refer to as "new" music. If you've never been to a "new" music concert---consider yourself a lucky man. Grumpy
Maybe after last year with the various copyright issues happening, corps are being more careful, and waiting for all rights to be theirs before announcing much of anything. Just a thought. If that were the case, however, wouldn't everything for the declined piece(s) that's been rehearsed and taught at the camps have to get thrown out and the corps have to start from scratch, right down to beginning the process to secure rights to whatever they want to use as the replacement music? I wouldn't think this would affect the theme of the show, unless rights were declined for most or all of the original music choices.

corpsband
This should be in the Blue Stars show. It's the correct title and everything :-)
blueorginal
Show announcements are like retreat, the last drum major to the front sideline wins (or has annoyed the audience). But in this case the last corps to announce thier show....

CQuinn
Don't you think some of these announcements are getting a bit ridiculous? I just want to see and hear some Drum Corps!
