Santa Clara Vanguard 4. Blue Devils 5. Cadets 6. Cavaliers 7. Blue Coats 8. Blue Knights 9. Boston Crusaders 10. Madison Scouts 11. Spirit 12. Blue Stars (possibly Gmen or Academy) 13. Glassmen 14. Academy 15. Crossmen 16. Troopers 17. Colts 18. Pacific Crest 19. Jersey Surf 20. Mandarins 21. Cascades/Teal Sound 22. Teal Sound/Cascades 23. Is this a new corps? If so, I want to add that it's highly unlikely that a brand new corps would reach 7th place their first year out. It also seems you've forgotten the Bluecoats. I know they haven't folded so ... [/sarcasm] I'm sorry ... you left it out there for me to take it. You're not the first to get corrected on the fact that Bluecoats is one word and not two and I'm sure you won't be the last. :) I just wanted to have a little bit of fun with it. boxingfred Posted June 14, 2012 Share Posted June 14, 2012 (edited) 1. Cadets- You have to have good GE, Visual and Music scores regardless of what your shows theme is. 2. Cavaliers- A new visual approach maybe what was needed. Cavies take another step up! 3. Blue Devils- With the new scoring system visual content means more! Can the Devils make the adjustment? 4. Crown- Has all the new staff jelled yet? One thing for sure! They will be very entertaining! I would love to see the win one of these things. 4. Santa Clara- Improved percussion and Brass. Oh, and clean your visual! 4. Bluecoats- I know they learned a lesson from last year! 7.Madison- I don't know. With all that former Crown Juice on their side. They could The Mid West Boy Band To Beat in the future! 7.Phantom- Drums are a year more experienced. Brass is always good. Visual was a pleasant surprise and guard was the best in years! I could see them in the top six. 9. Blue Stars- I'm sure this year they won't wait til August for their show to jell. 10.Boston- Could finish as high as 6th 11. Blue Knights- I could easily see BK in 9th 12.Spirit- I can't see them beating anyone above them yet. We will see! Sorry about the waffle on #4 But, Who really knows... Except the judges who are meeting right now before the first show. Choosing their 2012 DCI Champion!
