kevingamin
The voice is from Glee's version. Ironically, I can't stand either Glee or Lady Gaga, yet I caught the connection. :D
Kamarag
It is considerably cleaner than just a week ago, so I think they will be just fine come August. if this is "cleaner", I'm glad I didn't see it a week ago, let alone the theater thing. Yikes.
kevingamin
This statement here is the only time I feel that the Blue Stars don't give me enough impact. That should blow my mind leading into the low brass entry.
Hafe
I think that horn body work is recently new. I don't remember seeing in Akron or on the Muncie webcast. Good opening statement from the brass. I can recognize a Myron Rosander drill from a mile away. Well, from the press box, at least. Music is a strong caption for the Blue Stars. Visual is improving fast, which is nice to see after how messy it was at the first show of the year.

Seriously, the progress the Blue Stars have made this season is impressive. They may surprise us all at how high they place come Finals.
Hafe
I don't remember the body work at Muncie either. Drill is definitely Rosander. Much more demand than what they've done and it's challenging them.
N.E. Brigand
The voice [in Spirit's "Poker Face" intro] is from GLEE's version. Thanks to you and kevingamin both for clearing that up.
3rd Glasgow BB
Slower non glee version......
N.E. Brigand
Take away the bass synth, which plays almost continuously, and the Blue Stars have a better-sounding show. I love that drill, dirty as it still is, and find it shocking that Blue Stars might not make finals. If after four more weeks of work, that show can't best 13th place, what a top 12 must be in front! flammaster
Why can't they get an announcer who can read out loud? This guy isn't that good at it. Blue Stars sounded great! now time for some Bloooo!
