Staff changes

The Academy is excited to welcome Jason Bentley to The Academy educational team in 2013. Jason joins us as Visual Caption Head and completes the educational team comprised of newly announced Mykail Costner - Guard Caption Head, and returning Ike Jackson - Percussion Caption Head and T. André Feagin - Brass Caption Head. Jason comes to The Academy with 13 years of previous drum corps instructional experience. His previous corps included the Blue Knights, Crossmen, East Coast Jazz, and Jersey Surf.

I find his drill always too tight. The corps proper is always at 2's. I also find that there is too many follow the leader forms.

So AShy!!

Indeed true, but I believe that's what make his drill unique and effective. I'm almost ALWAYS turned off from a drill design that covers too much field for too long.

i'm a fan.

As mom to an Oregon Crusader euph player and also as a huge fan of OC in general, I can't wait for the big WC debut in 2013! What a thrill to experience winning the Open Class Title and now, the move into World Class. It has been and continues to be a thrill ride! I recently read on the website and on Facebook that OC has made some additions to their staff as well:

"The 2013 Oregon Crusaders, preparing for their debut season in Drum Corps International (DCI)'s World Class, is excited to announce the addition of Mike Fanning, Nick Werth and Michael Rosales to their design and instructional team." Read More
