DBSeattle
New here to ask: as a composer, how might I go about finding a potential band to record a piece? I imagine it would cost money just to get an ensemble to agree to do it. And in terms of recording quality, it would be great if they had mics and equipment already set up for such a thing. I wouldn't be able to truck all that in. Just thought I'd start the conversation - feel free to boot this out of newbies, and to another forum area. You probably know that a drum corps has brass and percussion, but no woodwinds. Some corps use synths, of course.
