I know the old premier tenduras has a nice crisp sound (I thought) but they weren't very good on your hands like the white max heads are today if they could get that sound w/ durability and good playing surface... they would be awesome I know they are made for pipe drums.. so maybe you can really crank the #### out of 'em? They feel like kind of a mix between the falam and the whitemax. they have a pretty full sound, but you have to work hard to get em to sound good.
