Sorry Ray, for not being clear. What I meant was:

Back then the "local's", many/most of the people here (in the Shore Area) considered them as "St. Joe's Hammonton". Not the "Joey's".

(That because St. Joe's Toms River, was always referred to as the " Modernairs ". And almost never as St. Joe's, when in conversations)

Kind of like the "Jersey Cyclones ".

Indoor winter practice was in Keyport, Outdoor practice was in Matawan, VFW Post (or was that the AL Post?) was in Perth Amboy, ETC. It was always interesting when we were announced at a Contest to see , Where We Were From.
