MADISON SCOUTS 2015

Recommended Posts

Could someone please give a short review of what the staff changes portend for the 2015 show and corps, for those of us less in the know?

Thanks!

Glen

There is no official news of the show.

As for staff, mix of last years teaching staff with some new caption heads and supervisors, along with great instructors moving up from tech spots.

Scott Boerma, KC Michel, and David Veda are back with the corps who all served in significant roles with Madison in the past as well as other corps.

The cymbal line is back after bring taken off the field from 2003-2007, and 2010-2014.

Those are basically the changes that are public thus far, anything else us speculation and opinions.

I see Michael James is now with Madison. He was with Phantom for quite a while.

with even a 40 member guard (and Madison goes much smaller usually) that's 1 instructor for every 3 guard members. One for the right hand, one for the left, one for the right foot, one for the left...

Should be a great guard performance.

Should be a great guard performance.

We are realizing that 4 of those names are listed as choreographers, and that instructors float in and out through the camps and tour, and are not all there every day.

This is a pretty normal size for the colorguard staff in world class.
