The "Music Corps Should Do" thread

There's some very high quality videos of some very high quality playing of Bridge Over Troubled Waters from the Cadets this past summer. They did it so exquisitely and I would love to hear that integrated into a field program.

It has been done in the distant past (primarily), I recall hearing it when I was marching. The main possibility was the Beverley Cardinals from Mass, who were at some of the shows I was at in the Cadets in 1972. It is a great tune for any era to do.

Bluecoats played it a couple of times in the 70's and many alumni considered that the corps song before Autumn Leaves ushered Bluecoats into finals in1987.

I think a show based on David Arnold's music,  Bear McCreary, or Clinton Shorter could be very good.

....or maybe a "Space" theme show with some contemporary scifi music?

I'd love a Sci Fi show without all of the cliches in there like The Planets, Star Trek, etc.   Tons of great stuff out there in the genre.   Currently watching The Expanse on SciFi and in the video game world Mass Effect/Halo/and many more have tons of aesthetic and musical inspirations well beyond the same old same old we get every year from someone.  Seattle Cascades get a pass for their 2015 show because of how they fused it with other music like their amazing Black Hole Sun/Jupiter ballad mashup.

(Happy 10k to me).

Easily half of Simon & Garfunkel's repertoire would translate pretty well to drum corps, in my opinion.
