Hornline is killer.. But by no means clean yet. I'd say the top three tonight have very comparable books from a demand standpoint and are all around. The same pint achievement wise with probably cadets on top at this point. No they don't have that "sound" crown or BD has. Just speaking from a demand standpoint. Not that is sounds bad. 2000Cadet Posted July 3, 2015 Share Posted July 3, 2015 Exactly right. I think this had a lot to do with how much people ripped them after all the cheese added to their show last year. I had mentioned this earlier today on a different thread, I really enjoyed their show last year, mostly in it's Akron form (early season). It simply needed an elegant and stately ending. But for many they got ripped over narration, a podium, and American cheese come the last week of the season. So you knew Hop would back off. And now what are we seeing from everyone else...more singing ballads than I've ever heard before, more electronics, sound effects galore, and even some narration. Enjoy this traditional approach we are getting from Cadets this year, because you know very well Hop will want his designers to do a modern and innovative show next year.
