kevingamin
Crowd response early on during a great guard rifle moment. Pioneer is reaching the fans in the stands early on.

kevingamin
This is definitely a darker show than we're used to from Pioneer and they are putting a LOT of energy into it. I'm liking this new direction for the corps.
kevingamin
Second movement, ballad. Mellophones get a feature with some nice body movement while moving across the field. Trumpets join the mellos on the melody during the second iteration. Guard is right in front of me, split between sabers and dancers.
Liahona
I think Colts pass Troopers. No other surprises. Well...Colts already passed Troopers at Atlanta...
kevingamin
Horns now on side 1, percussion behind them, finishing out the second movement.
kevingamin
Beautiful shimmering flags of various shades of blue in the guard, right on the 50, to start the third movement. Great visual!
kevingamin
Before I forget, let me introduce the corps properly. First on the field is Pioneer from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their 2015 program is entitled "Exodus: Divide the Sea, Unite the People" and consists of: Theme from Exodus by Gold, Ernest Selections from The Ten Commandments by Bernstein, Elmer Selections from Man of Steel by Zimmer, Hans
kevingamin
Trumpet soloist with the rest of the section accompanying him, returning to that ancient Egyptian style of music. Now the mellos get another quick feature. Guard now on gold poles and rifles. A jam session for the corps, interesting considering the style of music played. kevingamin
The cymbals now have a feature in the start of the closer, very indoor drumline of them. One of those cymbals is from Elyria, Ohio, so this is like a home show for him.
