lcarbonell
We are rehearsing at our normal spot - the corps named Foley Field in Plymouth, PA. Go to the light at 40 W. Main St., Plymouth, PA...turn onto Gaylord. Take your first right and go about 300 yards. Our field is the first clearing on the left. We are there until 2:00PM. You can come enjoy the Kielbasa Festival on Main St. also! Larry

We've often said out here in the hinterland - that a kielbasa and a six-pack make up an Irish 7 course dinner...Beats the heck out of Mulligan Stew! Pat too many sausage makers out here,BTW

Fred Windish
My little group (non-performing Buc Alumni) will begin rehearsal about 3PM at Cooper's Seafood Restaurant. We'll start by briefly working on the Bar kick-off piece, then spend time cleaning-up the Meal number, before our Exit to the stadium! Visitors welcome. Weather looks pretty solid, just a brief time for an early evening passing shower. This, according to Accuweather this morning. Big day in the Electric City ! ajlisko
Fred ... you'll love this one ... if this is the same stadium that used to host the show in the early 70's, there was a small bar across the street from the stadium (possibly Statlers) ... anyway, in 1972, we were supposed to go on 2nd so the drumline walked over to the bar and lined up our drums in front and we all went inside for a squirt ... well ... the corps that was supposed to go on 1st didn't show - so, they moved everyone's time up ... but we didn't know ... anyway, as the hornline was marching onto the field, Winky was running all over trying to find us ... when he finally burst into the bar he was like the Tasmanian Devil ... livid as ever ... the drumline calmly hooked up in the street and marched in parade formation to the field where the hornline was already in position - took our place and two seconds later started ... finished the show ... and marched right back to the bar ... oh ... somewhere along the line we won the show ... Enjoy Scranton tonight ... :-) My little group (non-performing Buc Alumni) will begin rehearsal about 3PM at Cooper's Seafood Restaurant. Fred Windish
Thanks! I sorta remember hearing about that Skyliner moment in Scranton. Amazing thing about those Skyliners of yore, they could spend all afternoon on 'other pursuits,' then suit-up, take command of the field, blow the house down, enrapture the audience, all the while booking a nice number. Amazing era! After Retreat . . . . . lather, rinse, repeat. This time, uniform not required !
