C.Holland
I understand that isolating individual proficiency is good on an analysis bases. But most if not all of those small technique issues would never make it up to the box anyway. So in the grand scheme of today's performances, how would it benefit a corps? It seems the best vantage point to view the overall product would be from the spectator's POV. At least that seems to make the most sense. then put them right in front of the stands. lovindrumcorps
then put them right in front of the stands. Seems to be a pointless caption as to how current shows are designed these days.

lovindrumcorps
many things found on the field can and do matter upstairs I would only agree with that if all shows were created equal. But they are not these days. The demands put on the performer's alone dictate how a judge can sample a show. Only makes logical sense to put them in the stands. Not just for a bigger picture of the whole ensemble but for safety as well. And there is the even larger front ensembles. All just leaves too little for a single on the field judge to rank and rate properly. At least from my perspective.

There's too much you lose up there.
