LOL Teaneck must have been scrambling for a 5th corps by signing up Westshoremen. Corps reformed and had two shows (2nd was DCA Prelims) in 1974. 1975 we came in last every show until week before DCA and we beat Blue Rock Sr and Interstatesmen. Then came in 15th out of 19th at Prelims.

1976.... still a LOT of new people and kind of shaky to start out.... ended up in 11th at Prelims end of the season..... (3rd at RCA Champs week before). Heck of a ride that year.....

I was at that Teaneck show.... my last year in junior corps, we had the day off (or at least the evening off....LOL).... so a bunch of us headed to Teaneck.

It was the show where the Sunrisers debuted their Aussie hats, and also showed they were ready to move up the ranks in DCA.

How great it is too hear these back, behind the scene's things. How many of us were in the same place at the same time. Never met. AND now,

Here we are after all these YEARS talking to each other about things.

Again Thank you all for taking Part !!!

Wow! I saw something today that made me feel Very OLD.

The Santa Clara Vanguard will be using a BIG 50 in 2017 for their 50th Anniversary logo. Thing is I saw them once in 1967. It was at the San Leandro, Calif. Royalairs home show. I was in the Navy at the time in Alameda (San Francisco). I also got to meet up with a High School Pen Pal that was with the Pineole Princemen.

(SC Vanguards FIRST year.)
