Next shows: Cranston, River City, Tri Cities, and Mesa on July 5.

Imagine it's Open Class Finals and your medalists are Music City, Spartans, and Gold. Given that we now live in a world where scores are going up and down by nearly ten points each day, I'm not ready to rule out that possibility!

There will be no shows on Independence Day, but River City Rhythm joins the fun on Tuesday, at the same show where Genesis and Music City are head-to-head. I think at least one of them has to have a precipitous rise or fall, so the rollercoaster will continue.

Next show: Ogden on July 7.

Small to medium increases for the five corps that competed tonight, resulting in just one placement change (RCR sliding ahead of Thunder).

Really looking forward to results from Ogden tomorrow, where I'm delighted to see that the three Northwest corps will be joined by two from California. A nice chance to compare two groups heretofore on separate tracks.

Does anyone know which of the OC corps will not be attending finals this year?

I apologize. Which corps arent planning to compete in Open Class Prelims and (subsequently) try for OC finals.

Wait what?!

They're still open class, why wouldn't they be at their championship????

Its listed on DCI's website that they are participating in OC Prelims.
