They introduce the uniform to everyone with a well done video clip that explains the 2017 uniform and the thinking behind it. This could become a model to other Corps as to how one should do the proper roll out of a new uniform for the season with the public. The guard costuming looks really good. Its funny you should mention the Guard attire. I had all sorts of weird thoughts on what the Guard's attire could be like given the theme. The guard uniform is great. Innocence vs witches. Corps proper just looks like they took Crown and BD with a splash of Academy and blended. Remember besides the fashionistas you will then have the critique about the visibility, integration of costuming, costume verses theme, die hard no change needed fans , comparisons to others.
