Well Dr. Drew Shanefield did give the slightest and oblique revelation about the music book according to recent tweets. That's all. I'm not messing with Tekk.

I am curious about how he writes. It would be nice to hear Cadets with a tough music book again.

If this thread is any indication, Crusaders and Pioneer are the only corps making it out of 2017 in a financially viable state as they're the only ones who've graced us with their show concept and musical selections.

Drew wrote for the Cavaliers a few years back but there was some question of the talent level of the line at that time as well as overall show design featuring/underscoring other elements such as percussion. There a number of colleges, orchestras, and some notable high school bands for whom he has also arranged.

Known for his great sense of humor, his candor, and his wavy presidential hair, Tekk, drum corps' Secretary of Silence, has widened the scope of his influence. It's not just drum corps show announcements that he has banished from the public eye. Even now, life is imitating his art. For as Newsday reports this morning,

Experts say that while most Super Bowl ads remain shrouded in secrecy — a sharp reversal from years past, when the majority of ads were pre-released — they say at least one strategy does appear universal: no controversy.

Tekk has spoken.
