I feel that if this year doesn't show significant improvement from the past few years, well I might just give up on their ever winning another championship. " Giving up " is just a "terrific " attitude to have on the long term future of your Cadets Corps ever winning a Championship again if it does not meet your expectations this season. xandandl
As we mark time on DCP for the corps' (plural) announcements about their show themes and musical selections, as some ponder whether a mention of Bernstein hints MASS or Psalms or anything from West Side Story that the Cadets haven't played ever or yet, the mention here and elsewhere about NY Philharmonic suggestions and connections about 2017 music selections has yet to also name the current shifts in NY Philharmonic administration and direction, a possible further hurdle before Cadets' licensing is fully secure. It's been an interesting read I suggest especially for those who might pretend they are in the know or who might have an interest in where Cadets 2017 might be headed. BRASSO
A choir inclusion for this season's Cadets show seems to rule out a return to WSS, but a choir is typically used at MASS, so if its between these two......
